3 min. read

Mehmet Metin Ayrancı recently passed the PMP exam. He studied for 2 hours a day and only for 8 weeks. Metin studied for the exam with Master of Project Academy’s online PMP training. He shared his PMP preparation journey with us and he also gave some useful PMP pass tips.

But before continuing with his PMP pass tips let’s check out his recently received PMP certification!

PMP Pass Tips

1- ) How long did you study for the PMP exam?

My studying period was interrupted 2 times with the intensive commitments that I have given as a contractor. Finally, when the Covid-19 pandemic hit, I found enough time to study. I’ve spent almost 8 weeks and I’ve studied for 2 hours a day. This study period was enough for me to achieve the above target result in the PMP exam.

2- ) What was the biggest struggle when preparing for the PMP exam?

For me, it was memorizing. First, I found it hard to memorize each knowledge area individually. But after you study for some time all the knowledge will become integrated and you will not struggle to memorize anymore. So don’t give up!

3- ) How was the quality of PMP training materials?

Master of Project Academy’s documents, lecture notes, questions were very qualified and well-targeted. Their guidance and customer support was impeccable. I am very happy that I chose the Master of Project’s PMP training and I recommend it to all PMP aspirants.

4- ) How much similar were the questions in the real PMP exam?

I think the questions and the wording of the exam are very similar to the Master of Project Academy’s course. I am pretty certain about their similarity because the scores that I got in the sample exams were almost the same for the real exam.

5- ) How many sample PMP exam questions did you practice before the exam?

I have practiced around 2500 questions before the exam. This was one of the most important phases of my PMP preparation because with the help of the sample questions I could see my weak areas so I could spend more time studying them.

6- ) How was the support you received throughout the PMP training?

Master of Project Academy’s customer support is perfect. My questions were answered in a very professional and helpful manner in no more than 24 hours. It was great and useful, I didn’t have any issues.

7- ) Do you have any recommendations for future PMP candidates?

It would be better if you plan to study for the exam for at least 2 months. Also, keep in mind that if your study is interrupted, you will have to start from the beginning again.

Solve as many questions as you can at the end of each chapter to understand the approach and usage of each knowledge area.

Try to examine real-world management plans they would help you understand the tools and processes better.

8- ) Do you have any tips for the PMP exam day?

Be calm and trust yourself, you should focus on the exam.

Make sure you have a good internet connection and you won’t be interrupted during the exam

9- ) If you would give 3 tips to your close friend about PMP certification, what would you recommend as part of your PMP Pass Tips?

1-Take notes when studying and solve exercises for each knowledge area where you struggle to remember

Good luck to everybody and don’t forget to celebrate after you become PMP!
